Kent Holtorf, M.D. is an expert in natural bioidentical hormone replacement and optimization for women and men, endocrinology, thyroid dysfunction (difficult thyroid cases), fatigue syndromes, adrenal insufficiency, growth hormone replacement, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic infections and multiple endocrine dysfunction.

Dr. Holtorf is diplomate and a board examiner for American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine (ABAAM). As a board examiner, Dr. Holtorf is responsible for administering the oral portion of the board exam and evaluating the physicians’ responses to determine if their knowledge base in endocrinology and natural hormones is high enough to receive board certification in this field. Dr. Holtorf received his doctorate of medicine from St. Louis University with residency training at UCLA. He has personally trained physicians across the country in the use of bioidentical hormones, hypothyroidism, complex endocrine dysfunction and innovative treatments of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and chronic infectious diseases, including Lyme disease. He was the founding medical director and developed the protocols for Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers and other centers across the country.

Wayne Wightman M.D. is a specialist in the American College of Emergency Physicians. He also specializes in natural health maintenance for men and women. He completed his medical school training At the University of Alberta in Edmonton Alberta. Prior to that he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, also at the University of Alberta. He furthered his education in Los Angeles in Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine.

Dr. Wightman has been very athletic with bicycling, health, and running numerous marathons. He has extensive knowledge in nutrition, hormonal balance as well as the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. For years he has been interested in age management and hormonal balance.

This exciting newer focus on preventative health and age management as well as chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia has been very rewarding for him as well as his patients.

Poorvi Shah, D.O. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is a graduate of Wayne State University and Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Los Angeles and has trained with the nation's leading experts in integrative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement, complex endocrinology and effective treatments for chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Dr. Shah has extensively studied osteopathic manipulation, bio-identical hormone therapy, natural supplements, nutrition and fitness throughout her training.

Dr. Shah has practiced yoga and meditation since her childhood. She also has a strong interest in underserved medicine and donates her time to the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic. She utilizes the bio-psycho-social model of medicine to provide comprehensive, compassionate and holistic care. Dr. Shah's passion is to empower her patients and to help them obtain their lifestyle goals through optimal wellness and health.

Charles Koftan M.D. is a board certified specialist in internal medicine.  He graduated Cum Laude from Wahburn University and received his medical degree and specialist training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident.

He was the Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine for the Denver Health Care Group, Inc. and has specialized in the treatment of multi-system illness, including chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and endocrine dysfunction. Dr. Koftan has also served as a consultant for physicians with difficult and complex cases.

Moses A Laufer M.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles.

Dr. Laufer is the former director of physician services and programs for the Kronos Group where he developed procedures and coordinated and trained more than 120 physicians from all fifty states in the treatment of thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia and the use of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, growth hormone and nutraceutical therapy. He also specializes in innovative treatments for weight management and headache syndromes.

Dr Laufer’s mission is to provide the latest researched based treatments and safest methods for improving the quality of his patients’ lives.


Samir Kadada, M.D.

Samir Kadada M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine. He has specialized in difficult and complex conditions that can be challenging to manage. He obtained a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Dublin-Trinity College in Ireland and completed his postgraduate medical training at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (USC).

His interest in complex endocrine dysfunction arose from the numerous patients that he encountered with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and thyroid dysfunction that were not diagnosed by standard blood tests and has specialized in an integrative approach to treating patients with thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, chronic fatigue syndrome, hormonal imbalance and fibromyalgia. He believes that the pursuit of better health comes through empowering patients to make informative decisions about his/her health.

He is also an International Delegate to the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine and a member of International Hormone Society.

Dr. Kadada is passionate about swimming, basketball, reading and meditation. He is well traveled around the world.

M. DeeDee White, nurse practitioner, brings more than 15 years of various critical care nursing experience with her to the Holtorf Medical Group, Inc. She obtained her graduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles, California and obtained her nurse practitioner training with focused emphasis in Adult Cardiology. Upon completion, she spent 5 years of her experience at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. It was during this time she also became very active in clinical research specific to disease prevention with various ongoing research studies. She was co-investigator for the EISNER research study and worked closely on the NOET and AREA study.

It was in early 2000, when women’s health and male and female hormonal issues became of increasing interest to her. She was especially interested in studies related to natural hormone replacement for men and women. This vast experience, combined with clinical training provided by Dr. Holtorf, has resulted in an extremely qualified nurse practitioner to address the intricacies of complex endocrine dysfunction, bioidentical hormone replacement, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

In 1997 she was awarded Nurse Excellence Award from Little Company of Mary Hospital.  She has participated in various committees and served as chair for Advanced Practice Committee while she was employed at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.  M. DeeDee White is an active member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also involved in various community activities.
